An office redesign can be an intense journey, but BECI proves change is a good thing. Their new workspace simply works for everyone and with the second floor now renovated, it's offering different areas designed purposefully with unique atmospheres.

Brussels Enterprises Commerce & Industry (BECI) is a partnership between the Chamber of Commerce and the Union of Enterprises in Brussels. BECI represents more than 35 000 companies and its mission is to foster business, entrepreneurship and networking. They provide consulting services, workshops and strategic guidance.

The Context

BECI’s previous office lacked personality and was too conventional. The dark, somber feel was too harsh and the furniture was outdated. Combined with the fact that their team was divided into different departments across the floor, it was evident they needed a new, fresh workspace that would reflect their modern vision of the business. The design concept also had to take into account new ways of working and collaborating.

The Outcome

The objective was clear: to transform the office into a bright and uplifting workspace with a contemporary touch. Since BECI is located just footsteps away from the Sonian forest, our entire concept was based on biophilic design principles, celebrating interaction between humans and nature.

New floor-to-ceiling windows were installed and we redesigned all areas based on their purpose and the dynamic of the space. With the inviting Plaza entry, Control Room for focused work, organic Jungle table for desk work, Mossy Booths for calls, cozy Secret Library, Boardroom for meetings and Agora tribune, BECI ensured everyone feels welcomed and can do their best work.
