Moving offices presented Lovatech with a blank canvas – an opportunity to create a workspace that finally embodied their team's character and needs. For this IT management service provider, finding the perfect office space was just the first step. To transform an empty box into a functional, inspiring environment aligned with their company DNA, Lovatech searched for expert guidance.
The Challenge: Creating a personalized workspace from scratch
Lovatech had moved from an old-fashioned office in a neighborhood that didn't align with their company vision. Their new space was a blank canvas - an office with no interior walls, kitchen, or meeting rooms. Arnaud Goubau, Lovatech's Operations Manager, knew they needed more than just furniture.
While he had specific functional requirements, Arnaud found it difficult to visualize how these elements would fit together in the space. The team looked for specialized expertise in workspace design rather than trying to complete the project themselves.
The Vision: A workspace that feels like home
Lovatech's team wanted to create a space where they could work efficiently while feeling comfortable and at home. The space needed to support collaboration while also providing enough personal space for focused work.
Above all, Arnaud wanted the office to reflect Lovatech's DNA - to have character and personality rather than feeling like a generic workspace. Coming from a dark office without much natural light, the abundance of windows and height of the new space was already a significant improvement. Now, the team wanted the interior design to bring it further with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The Result: An office for team connection
The completed office transformation addressed all of Lovatech's needs, with several elements that stand out:
- Central kitchen and lounge area serving as the heart of the office where team members can relax and connect
- Workstations that enhance collaboration and give sufficient personal space
- Dedicated meeting room for client meetings and team discussions
- Office with glass partitions providing both privacy and visual connection to the team
Arnaud emphasizes that the smooth, gentle wall colors have noticeably positive effects on the team's mood and well-being. The abundant use of wood finishes throughout the space creates a home-like atmosphere and makes the office feel welcoming and comfortable. The team now has a space they genuinely appreciate and enjoy working in.

When asked about his advice for other leaders considering an office transformation, Arnaud suggests to involve the experts: "Get in contact with design and build companies who can help you, giving you good advice, and not waste your time on things you're not good at. Put that in the hands of people who are doing that all day long, for whom it's their job. They will give you the best possible ideas to have the best possible design for your new office."
